Call For Work – 2009/2010 Juried Shows
The Cannon Beach Gallery, a program of the non-profit Cannon Beach Arts Association, is calling for original art submissions for it's annual All Juried Miniatures Show.
Artists should drop off work on Thursday, November 5 from 10-4 pm. There is an application fee: $10 for non-members, $5 for CBAA members, free for active gallery docents.
An individual membership to CBAA is $25 annually.
For the 2009 Miniatures Show, artists may submit as many pieces as they like for consideration by our guest juror. All work needs to be 6" x 6" or smaller (not including the frame).
All art work must be an original (no reproductions) in any medium and completed within the last two years. Please do not bring work that has been shown in past shows at the Cannon Beach Gallery.
All work needs to be for sale and exhibition ready. The Cannon Beach Gallery takes a 40% commission.
Exhibition ready: all work needs to have a wire secured to the back to hang the work from the wall. If the hanging committee has to rewire the work, it may not be hung.
There are consignment agreements and juried forms available at the gallery
(1064 S. Hemlock ST, open Thurs. - Mon. from 10-4 pm) or on our website, www.cannonbeacharts.org.
If an artist would like to be added to our artist list (or removed) please email: cannonbeacharts@gmail.com
Artwork that is not accepted into the show needs to be picked up between
November 7 - November 14, 2009 during regular gallery hours. The Cannon Beach Gallery has limited storage space, so the timely pick of artwork is appreciated.
Artwork that is juried into the show will need to be picked up on Monday, November 30, 2009 unless other arrangements are made with the gallery director.
Future Juried Shows:
